In April 1994, MRDC became a Certified Development Corporation, which allows it to package SBA loans in Missouri. This nonprofit group offers gap financing loan programs to new and expanding businesses and industries in a six-county area. Financing products include the Meramec Region’s Revolving loan Fund loans, the USDA intermediary Relending Program, CDBG’s microloan program and the Small Business Administration’s 504 program.
