HOUSING ADVISORY BOARD MEETING

Minutes
March 11, 2010

Call to Order
Darrell Skiles called the March 11, 2010 meeting of the Phelps County PHA Housing Advisory Board to order at 5:34 p.m. The meeting was held at the Meramec Regional Planning Commission.

Members Present
Darrell Skiles, Ed Worley, Ron Jost and Dawn Harmon

Staff Present
Richard Cavender, Linda Hollandsworth, Tammy Rigsby, Kimber Wagner and Linda Loughridge

Approval of Minutes
Ed Worley made a motion to approve the Minutes from the January 14, 2010 meeting. It was seconded by Ron Jost. The motion carried.

PHA Financials
Linda Loughridge presented the February 29, 2010 financials. Ron Jost made a motion to approve the financials for the PHA. It was seconded by Ed Worley. The motion carried.

Presentation of Housing Assistance Payments
Linda Hollandsworth brought the board up to date on the number of families assisted and the amount of housing assistance payments for all six counties.

PHA Plan 5 Year/Annual Plan
Linda Hollandsworth mailed the PHA Plan 5 Year and Annual Plan to the board members ahead of time for review. Ed Worley made a motion to approve the plans. It was seconded by Ron Jost. The motion carried.

New Business
Kimber Wagner explained how the Family Self Sufficiency and Homeownership Programs worked. She explained that the PHA had 86 current families on the FSS program with 32 of those having an escrow balance and they have 11 current families on the HOS program with two of those families purchasing their homes since January 2010.
