The Gasconade Valley Enterprise Zone Board will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, in the Commission Meeting Room at Gasconade County Courthouse, 119 E. First Street, Hermann, MO .

AGENDA

I. Welcome, Call to Order and Introductions —President Byron Baker

II. Review and approval of minutes (Action needed on minutes from January and June)

III. Financials and Administrative Report—Bonnie Prigge

IV. Linn Area Development Corp. request—Byron Baker
The Linn Area Development Corp. plans to dissolve and wishes to transfer its remaining funds to GVEZ to be managed by the Osage County EEZ. The proposed agreement is attached.

V. Fund-Raising Campaign—Bonnie Prigge
The group will review the annual fund-raising campaign. If you have not made your contacts, please do so before the meeting so that you may report.

VI. Update on EEZ Applications and Continued Discussion on bringing EEZs into GVEZ—Bonnie Prigge
Osage County EEZ was approved in June. Gasconade County EEZ has been approved but no official letter yet. To maximize the new EEZs effectiveness and ensure proper reporting, GVEZ has discussed bringing those boards under the umbrella of GVEZ. One of the biggest benefits would be the joint marketing opportunities. Bringing the EEZs under the GVEZ umbrella would require some bylaws changes, if the groups are agreeable. This will be further discussed and bylaws changes considered, such as a different size board, different board make up and different term limits and setting of a date for a joint meeting of the three boards.
