The Gasconade Valley Enterprise Zone Board will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Legends Bank, Highway 50, Linn, Mo.

AGENDA

I. Welcome, Call to Order and Introductions —President Byron Baker

II. Review and approval of minutes (Action needed on minutes from January)

III. Presentation on Third Party Review of Financials: Kim Staley

IV. Financials and Administrative Report—Bonnie Prigge

• Staff will update the board on events since the January meeting. Items include:

• Financial report (Action needed on financials.)

• Mid-year budget review

• 2010 meeting schedule

• Memorandum of Understanding with Maries County

• EEZ contract cost overruns

• MRPC IRP matching pledge

• Other items of interest

IV. Fund-Raising Campaign—Bonnie Prigge
The group will discuss annual fund-raising campaign. Letters were sent to governmental entities. Letters still need to be sent to private contributors, and Bonnie will walk board members through the fund-raising sheets and confirm the board member who will follow-up.

V. Update on Enhanced Enterprise Zone Applications—Bonnie Prigge
Currently, Maries County has been approved. Osage County is pending at the state and Gasconade County is still in process. Review of abatement matrix.

VI. Continued Discussion on bringing EEZs into GVEZ—Bonnie Prigge
To maximize the new EEZs effectiveness and ensure proper reporting, GVEZ has discussed bring those boards under the umbrella of GVEZ. One of the biggest benefits would be the joint marketing opportunities. Bringing the EEZs under the GVEZ umbrella would require some bylaws changes, if the groups are agreeable. This will be further discussed and bylaws changes considered, such as a different size board, different board make up and different term limits.

VII. Community/Economic Development Update/ Board Member Reports:
Time is set aside for board members to give updates on items of interest.
