The workshop will feature presentations from Larry Cresswell, lender relation specialist, and Bob Newman, senior area manager, both of SBA.

Representatives from the following agencies will be present for support: SBA, U.S. Foreign Commercial Services, Missouri Department of Economic Development, Small Business and Technology Development Center, SCORE Association and MRDC.

Individuals interested in participating in the free workshop should RSVP by Nov. 28 to Maria Kardon or Tonya Price at MRPC at (573) 265-2993 or email mkardon@meramecregion.org or tprice@meramecregion.org.

SBA provides long-term, fixed-interest loans to help finance business start-ups and expansions that are creating and/or retaining jobs. The program works in cooperation with banks to induce private lenders to participate in business loans.

The MRDC board is also responsible for reviewing and making loans through local revolving loan funds owned by MRPC.        Persons needing more information on RLF, IRP and SBA loans should contact Tonya Price or Maria Kardon at (573) 265-2993 or email at tprice@meramecregion.org or mkardon@meramecregion.org.
