Managers with the Wal-Mart Distribution Center 6069 donated one day of labor to help Meramec Regional Planning Commission, Ozark Rivers Solid Waste Management District and the U.S. Forest Service clean up items illegally dumped in the Conical Sink, near the Phelps-Pulaski counties line. Following their good deeds, Wal-Mart donated $1,000 to help pay for the future dump clean ups. On hand for the check presentation were front row, Vince Allen, Tina Stowers, Dee Brown, who is presenting the check to Nongluk Tunyavanich, representing Meramec Community Enhancement Corp., Ozark Rivers District and Meramec Regional Planning Commission, and David Zajkowski; back row, Steve Campbell, Bill Cadwallader, James Auten, Travis Baker, Doug Robertson and Bill Johnston. Those managers that assisted with the clean-up but were unavailable for photo were Brad Frazier, Marie Allen, Jeff McPeak, Johnny Maxwell and Roxanne Hall.
